I have a friend who came into a decent quantity of DMT. What is the going rate for something like an ounce of good smokeable DMT freebase?

The price of DMT depends on your location, since the people who produce it have different sources for different basic ingredients and use different recipes. Plus, because it's not so widespread, the dealer in LA won't know what the street price for it is in NY ... but an ounce?! That's about 60 trips. DMT is usually sold by much smaller quantities.

Dude, thats way more than 60 trips. Idk anyone who does a half gram. I'd say youd get AT LEAST 150 trips if its some dank. My friend smoked a point and tripped hard. When I had it, I got rid of it for 200 a g, maybe 150 if it was a homie.

It runs anywhere from about $150 to $400 a gram, depending on your area and the quality. An ounce is 28 grams, so respectively.. $4,200-11,200 (making the average approximately ~ $7,700).

Doctor Cannabis, 60 hits? One gram is 17 very heavy trips.. nearly 100 light hits.. making one ounce ~475 (heavy) hits and 2,800 light trips.

Checked again. I got my math wrong. 1 ounce=30g... not 3g. So what I wanted to say is... whoa...that's an avarage of 600 trips... That could actually last you a decade.

I can't imagine that much DMT in one place. The most I've seen is whatever I could pull off a mimosa extraction. Nobody around here would know what DMT was if I didn't bring it around every once in a while. Yeah, an ounce could fuck a neighborhood up proper. I don't know where you are, but I just couldn't see the demand being that high. I'd say a gram has appx 20 excursions to the 4th dimension in it. I've heard prices from 100 - 300+ per gram. You may run in different circles, but anyone who knows what it is won't have much use for more than a couple of g's unless they are a super psychonaut. Not to mention that not everyone that dose it likes it. I couldn't imagine paying $10 (50mg at $200/g) for DMT trip that last 20 - 30 mins tops. Of course I could be well on my way to pulling a gram or so off some mimosa within an hour or so.

It's a rare chemical, but what you get for it is gonna depend on your local market. It's also a pain in the ass to smoke with the typical pothead paraphernalia, and it'll make you smell like you went the Michelin factory and skinny dipped in burnt rubber/plastic. Have you tried it yet? I may get out the old tree bark and leave this place for an hour or so this weekend.

I know what you mean when you say there isn't anyone who would need that much.

I know a few tour "workers" and even they don't want more than 5 to 7 grams of the stuff. It's decent quality, yellow looking.

It could probably stand a recrystilization or two to further purify the stuff.
It definitely stinks like plastic/rubber - even when you're not smoking it.

I was thinking a good plan might be to turn it into the fumarate salt for storage and also for Pharmhuasca dosing.

Any ideas?
