Yesterday, I placed an order with Bouncing Bear Botanicals. I've been curious for quite a while now about salvia. Perhaps I should not have bought the 20x, but what the hell!

Any advice on how to consume this product?

How would you approach these substances?

I'm just a pothead...but I'm VERY excited about exploring other herbs.

Smoking salvia after MJ will cause it to have no effect. Be sober to try this.

Smoke the salvia in a water bong with ice water. Salvia needs to burn hotter than MJ to release the chemicals, so use a "jet flame" type of lighter.

#1 Have a sober person watch over you! Salvia can show you things you think are reality, so you could walk around or hurt yourself.

#2 Have a peaceful place to try it. NO DISTRACTIONS. No TV, radio, vocal music. I hear that can distract your trip or give you a bad one. Music with no vocals is ideal.

It lasts about 5-20 min, it is intense, but it is not for everyone. Good luck!

Not true at all, I smoke weed right before salvia, and it gives me just as intense a trip as if I were sober.

I really don't think it makes a difference, except for the after buzz. When I am sober and smoke salvia, I don't really care for the after buzz that much but if I'm high, I find it much more enjoyable.

Well you cant say its not true cause alot of people report deminished effects when stoned. But just as well people say theres no difference. So its undetermined.

Bouncing Bear released a documentary about consciousness called Manifesting the Mind. I downloaded the torrent last night, it ain't terrible, but it isn't of the greatest production value. Anyway I don't know about those herbs.
