Actually to dispel the American myths, British 'liberty caps' are very easily indentifiable and quite unmistakable unless there has been rain or a heavy dew which makes them turn brown and causes the nipple to become harder to spot. The 'wakefield cap' (Psilocybe cyanescensis) much harder to identify and rarer. In the SW UK liberty caps are everywhere, but not usually until mid September but what with the seasons becoming more and more fucked up Im not surprised tehy are out in Ireland already.
