I got a 24 count box of 25 mg diphenhydramine, I was thinking about taking 20 and hallucinating like fuck, I've heard extremely positive reviews for this, and extremely negative reviews. Whats your guys take?

uh....doesnt sound like a healthy or wise decision, pharmeceuticals are made to be taken in doses. taking to much can of course hurt you immune system, your digestive system, your liver, and your butt.

just grow shrooms, or buy some lsd

Diphenhydramine can be taken recreationally.. it's rather weird, and a lot of people have some pretty freaky trips (just a heads up).

As to it being dangerous, so long as tylenol nor aspirin are present I wouldn't be too concerned with that. The only thing I find annoying, high dosages of diphenhydramine may leave floaters in your vision for quite some time! On really high dosages you may have nausea or puke.. but like I said I don't think anything that one really needs to be concerned about.

did it once or twice...I took 20 but I don't know what the dose was it was a hell of a trip....more dream-like than anything else

Thanks a lot! Hmm, so I'm taking about 500 mg, hopefully I have a good experience tonight. I'll let you guys know what happened after the fact!

That whole thing about acetaminophen hurting your liver I guess can be true but remember all those other things such as naproxen sodium, etc. is just as bad for your kidneys. They all have their ups and downs so don't be fooled into thinking ANY prescription drug OR over the counter drug is going to be okay. It sucks to have to get an organ transplant - it doesn't matter if it's a kidney transplant or a liver transplant - you'll be stuck having to take some immunosuppresants for the rest of your life.

I wouldn't toy with it if I were you.

Also, this site is for people who are either growing or smoking/eating/vaporizing marijuana. This isn't a site for teenagers or tweakers to ask what's going to give them the best high with synthetic drugs.

Oh, another thing. . . remember that Benadryl is used to supress the body's reaction to things that it is allergic to. If you use it too much and on a regular basis the body becomes immune to it's reaction supression benefits. If you have allergies to something after having played with this a bunch, don't expect it to help when you REALLY need it. You'll just have to live through the allergic reactions.

But the Hallucinatory Substances section of the sight, as indicated in the description of the section on the main RIU page, is for everything but marijuana.
