Info: I have always wanted to try shrooming, but honestly I don't know too much about it. I know that you need like a gram and a half to start tripping, and I have heard the effects from friends, and I really want to try it this week... I also have some extra cash and a friend from my hometown is flying across the country to see me, it's the perfect time to try!


So I have a few broad questions for you guys I hope you can answer:



Are there different types of mushrooms with different effects? Or are they're different kinds with generally the same effects?

What should 'good' shrooms look like? The only ones I saw were small chunks of white and there weren't any cups or in tact mushrooms...

I know it's probably different area by area, but what should they usually go for?

Where would be the best place to look for a connect? Honestly over here I dont know anyone that sells bud & hallucionogens. Just bud. *This is a tough one, you dont have to answer it, I sort of have a connect but he isnt that trustworthy, he pinches sacs and praises shitty bud*

Shrooms are pretty much shrooms. Most everything people buy in the states is a strain of cubensis. You are paying too much if they run more than $10 a dry gram. At least where I live. An 8th of shrooms is good and all but you might want to start with a gram or 2. I have seen people react poorly their first trip to an 8th. Have you tripped on anything else ever?

Yes, Salvia on two or three occasions, and probably .6 of shrooms combined with a lot of bud.... I like to consider myself very strong minded.

What people would consider bad trips I consider good trips :P, I don't freak out and I'm usually on top of my shit... Which is why I would like to have an epic first experience with it

I remember they hooked me up to Nitrous for the first time a few months ago and they had to check if it was actually on after a few minutes because I was functioning normally and talking to the doctors with good speech and sentences that made sense. (even though I was FUCKED UP in my head)

I probably wouldn't take 3.5g if I didn't think I could handle it...

Also I plan on having some responsible people around for the trip who are frequent shroom takers (they're novices on the info but familiar with the effects)



@ 10/g my friend said ill be looking at $40-$60 / 3.5 depending on the kind but I called bullshit on that, I think he's getting ripped off (again, by the connect i'd be getting it through)
