I have pure opium but not pods. Can I make tea with the opium and just dissolve some of it into the water. I've tried smoking some of it and haven't really found a very effective way. I tried using a glass pipe and a screen with a bed of weed but I ended up just smoking the weed and not being able to hit the opium. So does it work if you just dissolve the opium into the water instead of the pods?

I know there is a way of making a tincture called laudanum from opium, and probably could be done with stalks and pods, with proper extracting. I do know that opiates are soluble in water so I suppose you could. Be ready for some kind of awful taste. You might be able to do hot knives, or use charcoal and put the opium with it and inhale the resulting smoke, like on a hookah.

You can definately make opium tea. Boil your h20, pour it in a cup, then add your opium and a tsp of lemon juice or vinegar (to lower the ph=helps the alkaliods dissolve) and let it steep do 5-10 minutes. fyi, a "Tincture" is just an alcoholic extract, of opium in this case, and is really overkill. Enjoy your tea.

Back when opium used to be readily available in my parts we used to just plot a gram or two in a bong and pass it around.

What color are you working with? I found the black tar to be a bit more bubbly then the gray knead eraser consistency opium. Either way, never had a problem with it melting down the bowl to much.

Another way of smoking it would be to take one of your glass spoons and hold it carb up and place the opium on the opposite side inside the bowl, that way you don't have to worry about it dripping down into the bowl.

Be careful though as the pipe will get hot.

The ask is very fine and usually accumulates from the top down.

I've never tried making a tea but I have at times let chunks sit in my mouth and later swallow and has always brought on a longer and more pleasant buzz rather than some of the intense meditational nod sessions smoking large amounts has induced.

I always enjoyed the gray opium the most

I stick with a little 10" glass opi pipe. I think it smokes to fast in a bong. I just plug the hole in the pipe with it and poke a hot needle through it. Another good way is to smoke it like hash on a tac under a glass. A frosted glass works the best.

Since when did opiates turn into stimulants and cause your body to lose weight? Do some homework, you're not turning into a "junkie" from doing Opium. Robbing your family members to do opium? You must live a very sheltered, and apparent, judgemental life.
