5# if the stem is hollow or not and shape

thare are some books all about finding wild shrooms in your local woods maybe try picking those up but fisrt of all make sure it is indiginous to your area

Is that a joke? .Calico, your comment is the worst kind of reckless, 'cause it involves a life other than your own. Mushrooms can easily kill you, and a lot of poisonous mushrooms look a lot like psilocybin producing species. If it bruises blue that's a start, but take a spore print to be sure.
