First I'd like to make the point that acid is one hell of a drug. The best way for me to describe it is that it is like a key that can unlock your mind so be wary of what might be lurking behind the door.

Anyway on to the experience. I found 6 hits of blotter from quite some time ago. I would probably date it from about 1987 in a dark, cool, environment LSD is quite stable. I had just come home from Florida. It was about 11:40 at night. My friend and I decided to take 1 1/2 hits a piece.

It had been about 20 minutes and neither one of us was feeling anything. Something came up and he had to go home.

I then rode with my GF who did not want me to take it, and at the time didn't know, to waffle house. Where I started feeling very sick, kinda like my adrenal gland was just gushing large amounts of adrenaline into my blood stream. I also had the feeling that I was on a roller coaster.

I go to the bathroom and look myself in the mirror. I notice that one of my eyes is completely dilated while the other is normal. I cover that eye with my hair and go back out. No one notices.

I return once more to the bathroom and notice that both my eyes are dilated. Then my face starts making very weird distorted looks. I quickly realize that whenever I look in the mirror I turn into a demon. When I leave the bathroom I notice everyones eyes are like black evil pits from a distance.

We went to my friends house.(also doesn't know I'm tripping yet.)

I hid my trip(which included kaleidescope floors) for about 4 hours. I also noticed that things that were black and white were colored both green and red.(apparently fairly common in those who are RG colorblind like me) Things seem to move independently and many things had much more depth to them than would be normal. I'm forced to tell my friend but my GF was sleeping at my house.

I decide that I would like to return to my home(its within walking distance). I walk out of my friends door and immediately I'm scared shitless I saw a bush but it too turned into a demon. I wait a few hours then go home.

It was probably about 5 am and I absolutely could not sleep. It was just not even an option. I go to my computer and write about 2 pages of really deep, insightful things about the world, religion, and reality.(which all got deleted by accident)

The last part is not as interesting. I stayed up for about 36 hours and got to experience fireworks on acid.(highly recommended)

All in all I think everyone should try acid at least once. There is life before, and life after. During the trip i had intense focus so start thinking about something deep, and please chose your setting and group very wisely. Have fun.

OMG. Waffle house? You deserve a bad trip.
Just kidding. I have had a few trips where everything turned into demons. Not fun. Just gotta wait til the trip dies down.
I think that is the key to managing bad trips:
Just keep in mind that the trip WILL end at some point.
