I normally would never start a thread asking a question like this, well because I've never had this happen to me for all the years Ive been smoking...anyways last night I got some weed from a friend, rolled it up and smoked a blunt w/my brother, and I immediately
couldn't hear, it was like I was underwater for 5 mins, and that is what I remember most disticntly, my hearing was gone! but it came back soon.... and my vision was also wierd, its hard to explain but I couldnt see for about 1 minute right after the blunt, everything was like bright and dark at the same time .... I didnt panic or anything, I was trippin balls so hard I just layed down and watched tv...but something wasn't right...my tolerance to weed is extremely high so usually when I smoke its never intense and it hasnt been intense for years! but it felt like I was a first time smoker again... Im hoping it wasnt laced, but what would cause me to temporarily go deaf? but im also thinking it wasnt laced because my brother didnt feel anything I felt, he was just high, and earlier that day I took some benadryl for allergies...could that have had something to do with it? anyways just wanna know if anyone ever had an experience like this?

i never heard of that happening outside of kat williams comedy routine. i dont know what it would have been laced with that made you lose hearing. alot of drugs like acid, pills, ecstasy and other shit cant get you fucker up if smoked. ive smoked bud that we perpously laced with coke or opium but no one ever went deaf from those. crack, meth or pcp can be smoked but you would probly notice it while breaking up the bud

I examined the bud, it just looked like some dank ass shit...no extra powder or nothing...who knows maybe I could have just been high as hell but like I said, I dont even get super high anymore...and also I took bendryl earlier that day...maybe that had something to do with it...but yeah it was crazy, just like katt williams strain deaf lol...I was deaf for only a couple mins...

Did you lose your hearing, or were your ears ringing? (sounds like a stupid question.. but I have my ears ring from time to time when I smoke)... if they were ringing that's called tinnitus. If you couldn't hear.. who knows, allergic to something on the bud might have upset allergies? I'm bankin it's nothin serious bruh.

dosnt benadryl have mono-amine oxidase inhibitors in it? if it does which im not sure about but they can act like a catalyst making various drugs ALOT stronger.

google a search on MAOI's and see what is said.

no.. benadryl (diphenhydramine) doesn't go well with MAOI's.

Tinnitus after smoking is pretty common I have that problem as well. I know when it's going to get bad usually by feeling a sore throat or swollen.
Never gone deaf though or blind. Mini stroke? Hows your hand eye coordination on both sides now, any problems?
