You need to see a neurologist... Sounds like a part of your brain may be misfiring or damaged, which MAY or MAY NOT be permanent. I would get in to see about this immediately as the brain controls your heart and lungs which are critical. I wish you the best luck bud... and I'm serious- set up an appointment with a neurologist and explain everything that happened that night. |

It sounds - very truthfully.
Like you are stressed. Your mind is stressed, you are thinking about everything - just keeping it busy - maybe keeping it off something important? something that could deeply upset you. Some sort of idea that may trigger true un-happiness or something that will put you into a state of complete misery and emotional isolation. ( a state of which you say you feel out of control of ) Its most likely, that ( and its been documented ) in cases where extreme emotion is shown and also in drug experiences peoples minds dont normally work like everday...and they think about the deepest things and sometimes loose it. I.e you said when your father passed away you felt out of control. Likewise in a very strange way, it could maybe be said that the pot disturbed the patern of " ever going thoughts " but because its fairly powerful you lost control. Saying that all of my talk is not science, they are merely and simply just trails of thoughs. My thoughts from one brother to another. I want to study Cognitive psychology and plan on doing a course in a few years when i have the money, im interested in the stuff and to be honest THE BEST ADVICE ON HERE SO FAR HAS BEEN TO SEE NEUROLOGIST ( or someone of expert profession whos not a g.p ) Secondly, try meditatiion, exercise and regulate the diet. Basically keep your body healthy and your mind healthy and i assure you, it will all be okay. Its just a ride, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMWWeS-j43A |

I've had that kinda same experiance.
A few years ago when i was in school a friend introduced me to weed for the first time. In high schools in the uk everyone has to do work experiance. Anyways it was a hot day and myself and my friend are on our way to an elderly home to help out as part of this work experiance. So we cut through the woods and he says lets have a spliff each of this, he pulls out a small block of worst quality hash i have ever seen, but at the time i'd neva seen it before. So he makes two spliffs and hands me one and we smoke them quick because were running late. |

After i'd finished i felt different but kind of ok so we headed inside the old peoples home. We got in and was told to go up a lift to get to a room, in the lift was a large mirror and me and my mate were giggling at the state of my eyeballs coz they looked like cartoon peepers.
So we get to the room and are stood in there, a nice little old lady walks up to me and smiles, then things got freaky. |

So she starts talking about something and my ears start beeping like a high pitched ring and i'm thinking whats that? Then my eyes go fuzzy like coloured dots everywhere and then my vision goes. So i'm still standing up panicking, then i pass out. When i come round on the floor i felt like it was all a dream but it wasn't, as i was wheeled out of the home in a wheelchair (looking like an idiot)i was very confused.
A few days later after everything cooled i was sitting in an exam with people around me and wham! the same feeling jumped at me, my brain hurt, my heart beat was sky high and i felt like i was about to faint. This feeling, which lasted 3 to 8 times a day for over a year, i think they were panic attacks but i never went to a Dr because then everyone wud have know i had smoked weed. This first experience stopped me smoking weed for a long time, but then i got to learn about weed and respect it, good quality weed that is. I kinda think this is whats happened to you because i also thought my brain had been changed because of my bad experience. But u'll get over it and learn to love weed and its relaxing qualities. Dont worry u've not changed and u'll come bak jus like i did. |

Its possible that it was laced, but you also had to have some bad reaction to the weed or whatever was laced in it, and a panic attack in the process.
It kinda reminds me of the time my weed was laced with PCP and I didnt know it, I smoked/ate a whole 20 bag at once and had possibly the worst/scariest nights of my life, it lasted 8 hours. I wish I could tell you that everything was good after it, but that was over 2 years ago and I havent been the same since. Whether you have a health problem or a mental problem or not, some people forget that horrifying drug experiences with stick with you just like everything else. Its traumatizing and it will cause psychological damage similar to having a near death experience. Ive had horrible panic attacks and they are just as bad. Like a mind scar it will stick with you, but stay strong and you can live with it and say you survived and live through one more thing. The way you describe your thinking, it sounds like you definitely have anxiety and possibly OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). I have these as well to a degree that it sounds very much like the way I think. Everybodys different so youll have to figure out what makes you better, whether it be medication, lowering you stress level, etc. Panic attacks and anxiety can cause numbness in your body as well. A neurologist is a good idea just incase something is wrong. Look up some of your symptoms and what can cause them on the computer too. Other than that just try to balance your life though, eat more healthy and every few hours, get 8-9 hours of sleep every night, try to get 30 mins of exercise everyday, multivitamins and fish oil is a good idea. Just do what u gotta do to get better, I know it can be extremely hard at times but its very possible.
