For cubes, I suggest whole or popcorn, above rye, WildBirdSeed, and especialy PF cakes. Depending on your water quality, you may also like to add a small bit of gypsum.....highly optional with cubes.

The reason for my selection lies in
performance in;
incubation and jar time
aversion to contaminants
excelent gas exchange
resulting fruits.

I do like adding a little horse pooh when doing the caseings, but only enough to even out the layers of corn.

Something you may be able to get hold of over there is purple corn.... If you can get it use it... there are even patents on this.
