All right, so I got a badass honey oil extractor (homemade, but customed machined hehe).. and I have the process to make some real nice oil down like it's the back of my hand, but I would like to take that bit of knowledge further.

Does anyone fucking know how to make "earwax" hash?

If so, please enlighten me.

I have the equipment to make Hash Oil.. and I am rather good at it (not to sound arrogant). I want to know how Hash Oil is further refined into "earwax" hash.

i thought earrwax was just a nickname for hash oil...

All right. I figured it out.

Earwax is a solidified version of hash oil (imagine the potency of Hash Oil, with the structure of hash).

Here is how it is done (so I read):
Similar to beating eggs to make a whipped topping (like uh.. meringue).

Take your hash oil, beat it (stir) until it starts to solidify (from the air entering the oil I believe).

Anyone have a better method?

You are using butane right? Its because and correct me if I am way off but when you push the butane through it goes from a liquid phase to a gaseous phase and picks up cannabinoid particles because of superfluidity principle. It is the deposited on the other side of the screen, with butane and the oil. Then butane will evaporate off, but because the innards of the oil are likely just teaming with butane molecules you need to have them gasify and evaporate before you can get a solid final product. Even if butane is in the oil, a quick lighter ignition will likely burn it all away.

Are you using pure butane, depositing into a pyrex or non reactive dish, are you filtering everything efficiently? All that I can think of....

EDIT: Another technique I employed was using a razor from an exacto knife, and scraping if back and forth on the dish until it is in one big pile then I attempted caping it all, but it ended up in a small little glass jar that is dipped into occasionally.

after it dries and you scrape it up it a glass dish put the dish over a pot of hot water and let the hash melt down again. this gets any butane thats left out and will make it taste better. when i do it this way after its scraped back into a ball it does very much look like earwax.
