Seeing someone with the lifeforce gone is rather unique, it is like the first time you see person.
I thought I'd now when I have to deal with it, but I saw my dad a few minutes after he passed away in hospital.
It was like a total stranger... what or who ever was there was just sooooooo diffirent. It was like looking at a good animatronic robot, he looked realistic but not lifelike...
Note to self, try to get eaten by a lion or shark.

Well I am very very sorry to hear that ANC. My condolences....truly.

I had to ID a couple of co workers once who both drowned. They were in the water about 24 hours or so. It's not like TV. In just 24 hours I had great difficulty telling who was who. My partner couldn't even look at them, I had to do it. Death is always on your shoulder, waiting.

i almost got hit by a car on the way to work and time slowed down and i had time to say goodbye to everyone then it turned at the last second, it made me appriciate things more because were all worm food.

I experienced that slowed down time thing, falling as a child before, It was on sharp rocks by the sea, and I thought I was a gonner, I ended up falling headfirst into the water, rather than the rocks, it felt like ages...
