Hey so im wondering what was the best method for continuing the process of growing boom booms from a colonized substrate(WBS). doing a grain to grain transfer, making a spore print, or a liquid culture, cloning mushroom tissue or some other method i missed. im looking for something that will allow me to store it and use it again later. but just curious as to people prefferences, opinions and attempts of different methods. THANKS!

I Take Liquid Spore Cultures.

I just take a print every now and then. I did a liquid culture once but it contamed.

thanks!! ya can just keep the prints in a dark room temperature place right? they last a long while? dont ya make a liquid culture from a spore print, what makes them better to go the extra step?

Keeping Spores In A Dark Package In The Fridge They Can Last A Year.

you grow a liquid culture from spores and the mycleilum begins to grow and that is what you inject your jars with. It speeds up the process because it is already growing, while spores must germinate.

I preffer isolates or clones from good looking fast growing shrooms grown on agar.
