I had a question about refilling a script.

Say i had a script with 3 refills. the directions say take once daily. and i have 30 tablets. could i refill once - or more than once - before im suposed to be out of pills?

hope that makes sense. but yeah, any help would be good.

multiply what doc has put per 24hrday then add it up. pharmasist can be fucken asses when trying to pick up too early. 3 days should be fine. tell them your going to indian reservation in arizona for vacation and there are no local pharmasist in area and you will be needing them a lil early!

i dont deal with pharmasist anymore. my spine specialist doc gives me my meds at office and it is a 3 month supply. 6 norco 10/325 , 3 tramadol a day do your math. ALL AT ONCE!

1 tab per day means you have a 30 day supply. 1 tab every 4 hours means you can take 6 a day. if it was 1 tab ever 6 hours you would be able to fill your script every 4-5 days until you have no more refills.

you COULD maybe get it refilled if you said some catastrophe, like say they all fell into the toilet, or one of your kids friends stole them all, however you can pull something like this only once and IF the doctor dose refill the script for you, he will be paying very close attention to your pills from then on. i think they will replace half of the lost pills because they are automatically suspicious of their abuse.
i have been taking pills for pain for a few years now and ill never let on to my doctor that i know anything about pills. ive only gotten a few scripts from doctors but more often i pay a rediculus price for pills ilegaly. ive heard if they suspect your an addict it goes in your medical file so even if you go to the hospital in serious pain (even like obviously broken bones) they will hold back on the morphine and even hesitate to give you vicodin more likely they will give you two "pain pills" that turn out to be tylenol.

i have a thirty day supply. the original question was could i refill it before the thirty days are up...

but i guess you answered that with your first post.

thanks aladin. would i get in trouble if i try a couple weeks early and say something like "oh i dropped them down the toilet" or "my dog ate them"

i dunno about this. cuz my doc knows i have abused pills in the past and that ive been to rehab. but i recently burned my hand at work and i went to urgent care and they gave me vicodin no problem. but this refill question isnt about the vic. its about this other med i was given this morning.

when i asked about refilling it i meant at the phatmacy not the doc cuz the bottle says 3 refills

once i lost my pills in vegas. i left them in a fanny belt that go on your belt. I informed my doc that i left the case in the mall bench were i was sitting and went back to no avail. he refilled my largest bottle that i lost. it was 2 weeks after seeing him. WHOOPS!
