its been over 5 days now and there is basically no signs of germination in my jars
is this a bad thing, or might it take over 5 days to do it?

multi-spore syringes can take 36 days for the hyphae to germinate and mate. Give it more time.

well thanks for letting me know, somewhere else i read said you should start panicking after 2 weeks

i assume this is your first grow, if not sorry. if there is a next time you might want to look into making a liquid culture the same time you shoot some jars up. that way by the time your jars are done your liquic culture will be ready to make 30+ jars germinated in 3 days. although it is a good idea to test the liquid culture out on a couple jars to make sure it's not contaminated before shooting up 30 jars.

i've never had 36 days but i have had it take a little less than 2 weeks to germ. it just depends on how fresh the spores are. good luck and what strain are you growin?

Why grow Shrooms when you can just buy Salvia?

My spores take a few days to a week to show signs of growth. Which vendor did you buy the spores from?

The Reason People Would Rather Use Shrooms Than Salvia Is They Dont Want To Be Incapacitated. They Want A Fun Non-threatning Experience.

how do u make liquid culture? I had a mycobag once but it got infected. I need a pressure cooker for doing grains.

Why would you want to have a less fun trip thats kinda hard and stoney for 5 minutes? over..... a mushroom trip for 4 or so hours thats beautiful, fun light and energy fueled with hilarity and curiousity. Both are very very very different. One is alot more prefferable. SHROOMS

Salvia has just got popularity because its legal in most places, so quite alot of people do it. Oh and btw it sounds like youve never done shrooms.... or i dont think you would say that. THEY ARE SO DIFFERENT.
