Default Trichocereus (spp. scopx juuls) seeds??
I recently acquired some seeds from the genus Trichosereus, now the only other info thats on the envelope is scopyx juuls, ive heard of Tom juul's Giant Cacti but ive never heard of scopyx is this some sort of cultivar?
Does anyone have experience growing Juul's,and if so is the amount of mescaline contained even worth the extraction process?
Cheers.

cacti seeds are often labeled as anything but magic trichs or lophs.

scopy x juuls sounds like a hybrid.

if you're interested in cuttings instead of seeds, send me a pm; i'm about to move, and 90% of my cactus garden can't come with me .

Did you do a google search?

This is what I pulled out, honestly though my man if didn't pull anything out of the internet-web-space-matrix don't ask cause thats what most of the better answerers on here do, unless they have some specific information that they just know for some reason.

Trichocereus cv. Tom Juul's Giant - A cultivated variety of Trichocereus. This type of cactus is hard to find in nature. Its scarcity made it a sacred plant of a group of indigenous Indians located in Bolivia. A man named Tom Juul acquired a specimen and introduced it to other cacti collectors, from there the plant became more well known. It is known to contain at least trace amounts of mescaline, but a reliable estimate is not known. More for a cacti collector than someone interested in cultivation for mescaline content.

Peace
