Ok, first off, hi everyone

I started this thread to try and get some clarification about a trip I had on 21x Salvia 2 days ago. Im going to try and remember and describe as much as I can so here goes.

Starting from the beginning, I was sitting on the side of my bed with my gf sitting at the computer, I had the bong in my hand with a rather large bowl. I was convinced that the last trip I had was just the beginning and that a bigger bowl = better trip.

boy was I right, I lit that shit with my newly purchased torch lighter, I was told its better than a reg butane lighter anyday. Then I procceded to take the biggest hit I could, I held it for about 7 seconds(yes I was counting) then ended up coughing a few times as I exhaled, Cleared the bong and then it happened.

All I remember doing in the real world after that point is noticing that my vision was fading into, well, nothing.
I had the all to familiar feeling of needles all over my body, It felt like I was floating in a golden ocean. I was there, but "I" didnt exist, it was more or less my mind and body was there, but "I" was not.
After that point it gets really weird for me, I was talking to(im assuming some being much higher then me or anyone here) and she asked me to follow her, I agreed.
I then felt as if I was being uled into this great beyond, so to speak, I looked around as this was happening and saw my room, it was so small, like a pinprick in the universe, a speck of dust on something much to big to rationalize.

Everything around me was glowing with a golden halo almost. there were all these beings, they looked like people, but I know they were not.
It seems almost like they were cheering me on, as I followed this heavenly being into what appeared like nothing. At that moment, I could see this great light up ahead of me, I knew this was it, it was all over after I passed that light. I was sooo close to it I felt this amazingly overpowering feeling of joy.
Then I got scared, I stopped moving further, I was being pulled away from this beautiful light, Something had grabbed my leg and was pulling me away, for what seemed like an eternity, I begged this being to save me to protect me. I didnt want to go back to this world, It was so perfect I was afraid to leave.
I hated whatever was pulling me down, it was almost painful to see that I was so close yet would never get there.

I saw the being fade away, this world I was in was disappearing so fast. Then "I" returned, I could now stare in fear as reality s I knew it returned to me. I saw my gf holding me by my leg from falling headfirst off the bed into the floor.
It was over, whatever had happened I knew might not ever happen again, I was so sad I started crying. Everything returned to normal, the pins disappeared, my vision returned to normal and I went to sleep shortly after.

Now 2 days later here I am asking for help to try and understand what had happened.

What you experienced is actually a common Salvia trip, myself personally use the drug in religous practice and have experienced very similar experiences. Salvia is considered the plant of the gods and is used in conversing with these entities. Also, I know of many people who experience journeys that involve Native Americans while using that herb.

I have never tried Salvia myself, but from all the trip reports that Ive read on it, that sounds like a very good one. Almost like a DMT trip.

What was that place exactly? was it real? will I ever go back there?

Those are questions that u might be asking. It might have been real, but u have to figure that out by urself. Maybe u should do the exact same thing again and u will be able to go back to that place. If not then be glad that u did get to go to that place. U will see it again someday tho, I can guarantee that.

It sounds like a pretty standard trip mate just chill out n go with the flow. After a few times of tripping ( not so much with salvia because its more earthy and i find "tight " and " closed " rather than " open " and " free " than something like shrooms or acid ) you will start to just understand a bit more that it is just all in your head and it truthfully doesnt mean too much!
Just have a laugh n chill out.



AS TO THE PERSON ABOVE WHO COMMENTED DMT NO NO NO ITS NOT LIKE DMT

Salvia is wavey infact i always find i switch out of the trips at moment.

WIth dmt its the only psychadelic i think that is completely in one stream and there are no in and out of focus or whatever.

I've never personally been able to repeat salvia trips but a lot of my friends have. They have also had mostly weaker trips that consisted of 99% laughter and they said some hallucinations here and there. I tend to be the one who always bought the stuff and would take the first hit and generally would trip like that, slightly harder or slightly weaker. Commonly on salvia if I get a good enough hit, I hold it and about 30 seconds later, before exhale, I notice this voice in my head (only on salvia, I hear a different voice on mush) and then I always black out for about 2 minutes, I never remember exhaling. And when I come to, I'm tripping face but the crazier thing is that I forget everything of previous life. It is like the tripping world I am waking up in, is actually what life is like and if I have any recollection of REAL life then it seems like just a dream. I hear salvia has a reverse tolerance so you might be able to get to that point often. You just need to make sure you take enough.
