they usually are growing wildly around october for the northwest. depends on were u live. best time to go picking is just after the first frost of fall. consume with caution.. i once ate over 85 psyinecence(which by the way was my first time).... dont do it. i way over did it and almost overdosed.. found out later on that i was only supposed to eat like 5-15 semi dri but still slimy. id try some libs for ur first time its a much different trip more colorful, and controlable then the psys. make sure if u are getting them ur self that u do alot alot of research before picking and ingesting. some looka likes can and will kill u. also u will want to check through the shrooms for tiny heart worms that are occationally living on them. good luck.
