So I was able to get a hold of some pure kava kava in capsule form. Recommended serving size: 2 capsules (400 mg each capsule). Having taken the recommended serving size a couple days ago here are the results...

Within 20 minutes I begun to feel relaxed. There was no apparent intoxication, however it was easy to overlook certain aspects of everyday living. I was able to watch programming that would otherwise bore me to death and tolerate people I consider to be the bane of my existence who shall remain nameless.


I am about to take 1200 mg of Piper methysticum (Kava Kava). That would be 3 capsules if you are currently too baked to add. Depending on the situation I may report my condition as it is happening or wait until the affects subside. Please feel free to add your own kava experiences and info.

never had much of anything happen... i knew the root was a low level psycho.. so i took 13, my friend took another 13 to keep level. we proceeded to get drunk once we realized it wasnt going to do much.... i wouldnt recommend taking that much, as im not sure the health issues, but personally didnt have much of any type of effect.

dude, kava kava is a relaxant. it doesnt get u stoned, its like valerian. BUT, if you mix it with alcohol, it makes u see things.
people have died tho, and im not responsible for youre death if you do. :P
