i just bought myself an 8 oz. bottle of the cvs brand extra strength cough syrup. i made sure that dxm was the only active ingredient. does anyone have any advice on taking this stuff? I weigh 215lbs so the bottle should be enough to get me to a solid second plateau trip. the dosage on the bottle was 15mg DXM/5ml. My main concern is vomiting. I really dont feel like puking my guts up tonight lol. Does anyone have any specific methods of downing the syrup? I will also be smoking some good quality bud from my bong.
any advice is greatly appreciated.

i think thats what ill do. it is my first time. I have a thing against vomiting lol. Drinking it little bits at a time seems like the smartest thing to do.

It goes both ways, you can down the amount you were going to take at once, or you can sip it off an on. Personally, both will bring nausea, but I doubt if you don't have a shit ton that you'd puke.

I mean version 1)
You down the amount you planned on taking at once, it hits, maybe causes a little stomach disruption and maybe a little nausea.

Version 2)
You continously sip on that nasty shit getting higher and higher having it taste worse and worse.

I'll take my chances puking from the drug than puking from the flavor of that nasty syrup.

Sorry, trying to add a little humor, but that is how I feel. Adding in some cannabis will relieve the nausea, you can pick up some candied ginger or some of those ginger candies (sounds similar, are totally different), as they both relieve nausea.

i can see where your coming from. the taste of the syrup is disgusting lol. i might chug it all and chase it with some water. i think sipping it might make me more susceptible to puking.

yeah.. I know what you mean. If you're concerned for the taste, buy Robitussin brand DXM. The rest go downhill.

I puked after having a few grams of the shit... but I did it every weekend (sometimes twice a weekend) for almost a year.. I have 4 different copies of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 now. It kills you memory (abuse, not using it sparingly).

*edit* i just tasted it. it isnt too bad. smells a little like raspberries lol. very sweet with a sharp tangy after taste. i can definitely keep it down.

All right, sipping should do fine if you don't mind the taste. .

* Just remember DXM can take from 20 minutes to a little over an hour to kick in depending on the person and the dose (higher dosages take longer to kick in, iuno why tho).

get an extra large slurpee and pour it in there. Ive never done this but it sounds good.

I did the extraction (if anyone ever attempts, use goddamned NON SUDSY AMMONIA -they aren't kidding about fucking it up). Anywho, I left it out for like a week and it oxidised into DXO. hehe rough stuff
