it is an opiate supressor...for people who use alot of heroin.. has anyone ever tried this puke inducing pill?

Buprenorphine? Isn't that the one that is supposed to be taken sublingual?

if you have a low opiate tolerance or are opiate niave it will make you sick. it is 25 times more potent than morphine but that pretty much is all canceled out by the nalaxone, that is why it is an agonist/antagonist

it's supposedly a better form of heroin treatmant than methadone, not as addictive as methadone and also easier to come off of...who knows though, treating a drug 'problem' with more drugs is just inane if you ask me...

Yup, that is exactly right, Buprenorphine and Suboxone are the same thing and they definitely need to be taken sublingual. My girlfriend takes it, for those of you that don't know taking it sublingual means you have to let it dissolve under your tongue. That would explain all the puking for those of you who decided to eat it all at once. I really can't stress enough that people should know what they are taking and how to take it before they just go shoving pills down their throats. Its really stupid and you could kill yourself.

On a side note, I let half a pill dissolve under my tongue and an hour later had a warm itchy opiate buzz and was only ever so slightly nauseous. Cigarettes will make the nausea much worse, or at least that's what the misses tells me.

I thought the Nalaxone only blocked the effects of the Buprenorphine when you injected it?
