so a pawn shop in my area is selling a zex automotive nitrous tank http://zex.com/. my question is can this be used as a regular old tank? can it be filled with food grade nitrous for consumption or is it useless?

where do you get food grade n2o? and no i wouldnt put it in there cause there's probably a lot of impurities. but then again im no expert on the subject.

Automotive n2o sometimes has sulphur dioxide in it, which will make your throat close up temporarily. Not nice.
Buy some crackers for whipped cream machines.

i had the same zex kit on my mustang and i tried it a few times was pretty cool but be careful shit will freeze your lungs gotta know how to do it but they sell a kit on ebay that uses little co2 cans that go into bb guns and it punctures it and lets you inhale it

yea i got a whipped cream cracker/machine that holds 3 or 4 of the mini cartridges but i wanna grab the tank cause its pretty cheap. the tank had a label that said it had sulfur dioxide mixed with the nitrous in it but the guy said he emptied the whole thing. you can fill tanks with food grade nitrous in massachusets as well as a few other states i believe. i just wanna figure out if this auto style tank can be used to hold food grade nitrous or if it can even dispense it safely and nontoxicly

It most certainly can... How? I don't know, but I know it is possible.

I knew a guy who did that before. He used to have 2 bottles in the back of his car - one was hooked up to his motor, the other one had the food grade stuff in it. This was quite a few years ago so I'm trying to pull this from a distance here, but I'm pretty sure he had a hookup similar to what you buy for helium tanks to fill balloons, and that's exactly what he did. Matter of fact, I think a couple times he would sit in his car and open the valve in it for a little bit, and just sit there and breathe for a few minutes. I don't recommend that by any means, because that just sounds like a terrible idea. Whether or not he really did that I dunno, he talked about it but that doesn't mean it happened. I know for a fact he had balloons for the other tank though.

I'm proud of the fact that addiction can't control me, and that I can use drugs responsibly, not letting them take over my life. I can use drugs once in a while and be ok with that. i would not take the chance, automotive nitrous has diffrent chems than food grade, go to the nitrous shop man and just buy the tank theyre cheap
