Im going to try a CWE on Morning Glory seeds, and I want to put a dash of tartaric acid in it to aid the extraction.

I soon search google to obtain the tartaric acid and soon find that it is in most sour candies such as, Sour patch kids, Sour gummie worms etc... if the acid is at the bottom of the bag(thats why the sugar at the bottom of the bag is sour.) could I use it in the extraction?
