hi. i know tolerance will vary greatly from person to person but i was just wondering how long different drug tolerances last for the average person.

coke:
weed:
benzos:
shrooms:
opiates:
alcohol:

i dunno im just curious....

Coke: n/a
weed: Tolerance starts to diminish noticeably after around a week
Benzos: n/a
shrooms: spaced around a week to two weeks from your last trip, you're tolerance should be much lower. (same with LSD)
Opiates: Depends, heroin tolerance depletes after roughly 3 days. Morphine starts to deplete I believe around a week or two... but I have seen people go very long periods of time after chronic abuse and still have a reasonably high tolerance (I guess it's how bad you shit on your Mu receptor)
Alcohol: Maybe a month? Your tolerance definitely goes down, as in you may get drunk faster, but you can still drink a large amount if you've originally built a decent tolerance.

My numbers may be off: this is just personal experience mixed with heresay. Plus, I'm sure someone will say, "Everyone is different". Length of use, amount of use, body weight, sex, body fat, speed of metabolism.. etc

A big one is vitamins and minerals, some of them combined with drugs can significantly amplifiy drugs or come close to baselining a tolerance.

For me:

Coke: 1 day, maybe more but its hard to tell
Weed: Starts to go down around 4-6 days, as low as it'll go....about a month (I weight 240 lbs right now and weight is a big thing when it comes to weed tolerance)
Benzos: Never did consisntantly, just to pass out after tripping occasionally and the random times i'll do xanax and smoke(no point. I just forget everything)
Shrooms: I'd say 2-4 days but can pretty much do every 2 days with fairly full effects
Acid: Probably 3-6 days but not less. To get full effects the next day you pretty much have to take twice as much and it doesnt last as long as it should
Ecstasy: about 5-7 days for return of FULL effects. still relatively strong after about 2-3 days. Although very heavy use will probably take around 10-14 days to get all the serotonin back. Eating well, getting sunlight, and sleeping well help a lot to bring back the serotonin that makes you roll. Just staying heathy + being phisical + sleeping well seems to do the best. Also this can be very different with people who have a lot of depression as their serotonin is generally at much lower levels. If you have depression and are using an MAOI, dont for a few days before taking X
Opiates: Probably 24-48 hours with heavy daily use. I only did that so I dont know about light use
Alcohol: I dont know. When i started drinking i had the highest tolerance. It was bad and I would drink around a fifth in like an hour then would drink beer after that. That tolerance started when I started drinking around age 13 and stayed until around 15 years old when I stopped for a few months and then when I started back up i realized that my tolerance was NOTHING in comparison then what it was and I've been drinking about 2-3 times a week until 18 then was like 4-5 times a week, then 21 and I drink like 5 days a week but sometimes dont drink for like 5-6 days and feel that my tolerance gets higher after the few days of soberness but has never gotten as high as it was when I was really young. (I feel alone on this one though)

^^ yeah im the opposite from you on the alcohol tolerance. when i started drinking i puke of 6 beers lol. i started at 15. but once i started i couldnt stop i love it. i pretty much been drinking nonstop since (probably 6-7 days a week) then. im 19 now and my alcohol tolerance id say is pretty high. i wont get buzzed until 9 or 10 beers. but one thing that fucks me up fast is tequilla hahhhaaha actually i been drinking all night tonight

I drank over a period of two years, so it's not the longest period of time for me to even judge. lol..

But I was able to put down a half gallon of captain an a xanny bar one night.

lol well to be honest i been drinking all night again tonight but i rememeber one night... me and 5 other friends floated a keg in about 3 MAYBE 4 hours... I think thats something to be proud of
