The Brotherhood of Eternal Love



The Brotherhood of Eternal Love has been a long fascination of mine. Their ideas and beliefs seem to me, to be some of the most profound outlooks on life that I have ever heard. If you are into lsd, and I mean really into lsd you should research the brotherhoods beliefs. They were not materialistic, and just wanted to be at one with themselves, and with their surroundings.


My questions to all of you are, where have all the brotherhood gone? Has the group completely deteriorated? I would surely hope not. I know with the Grateful Dead stopping touring a few years back the major linkage of chemist to consumer has been extremely lowered, and a lot of ties were lost.

This year the Dead are going back on tour. Hopefully we can bring this nation back to the consciousness it truly deserves.

But, is the Brotherhood completely gone? I truly hope not, but in my long search for some sort of tie to them, to help expand my consciousness, I have come up empty.

WE NEED ANOTHER MOVEMENT!!!



To anyone out there who feels how I do. Lets do something about this.

they came to realize that knowledge and awareness through means of a "chemical" is fake, and they all turned to buddhism for the true answers of life... youll soon find your quest for awareness through chemicals is only damaging eventually, it can be a good catalist in the search for answers, but all in all your own brain is infinately more powerful than any l.s.d. or psilocybin, mdma...

buddhism is the movement that never ends, its been around longer than christ..........

oh yeah here is an interesting tidbit " 90% of caucasian buddhists from the baby boomer era (1950-1960) have all tried l.s.d., which definaely shows that l.s.d. awakens the mind to an extent

The brotherhood had good merit and ideals but anything revolved around a drug will eventually end, so if you are looking for a cult folowing of peace, love and understanding go buddhist.

If I remember right, they were the guys in Laguna Canyon, CA who would mail people acid for free. They got shut down hardcore by the gov't in the 70's I think. Pretty much ended their movement. Wish I could get free acid mailed to me these days...

what is your motivation weedman?

I'm just curious if its more the spiritual side and relation to LSD, or if its more about the war on property and liberation? The concoction of the two?

I think if you determine your principles on your own (which it seems you have) and you act on them decisively, the forces of the universe will eventually bring you together with others of like mind.

In other words, lets not look to the past, the Brother's would not have joined an organization founded fourty years before, I think. Time treats harshly institutions existing in the state of Amerika.

The reason I bring up these topics was nailed on the head.

I have spent many years with the expansion of my mind in religious ways, and am ready to try to expand more. I also however feel that with the expansion of other peoples minds would mean a better well being of our country, no matter how bleak the outcome may look, anything is better than the past 8 years.

I’m not saying there needs to be a cult following, all that I am saying is we need some sort of movement again to get people excited for a cause. We need to unite our youth again.

Lsd is NOT to be abused. It is spiritual, even though it was chemically created. It was given to us from a higher being in my eyes. It is not a means of any complete answer to anything by any means, just a tool that can be used to open areas of your mind for meditation that cannot be reached by the average Joe, who is just beginning his spiritual journey. Think of it as more of a primer as to what you can achieve with your all powerful mind through meditation, with no chemicals at all.




This could be enough to open peoples minds and unite them for the cause.
