I'm thinking about ordering 2 ounces of dried salvia leaves off Bouncing Bear Botanicles, but I want to know if it will be worth it.

Has anyone every tried just dried salvia leaves without the extract? I have never tried salvia before, but I've been looking to buy some for a while. One ounce is only $12, but I just want to make sure that I'll be getting my money's worth.

For those who have tried it, did it give you any visuals or was it just a buzz?

its not gonna do anything unless you smoke it all. you need teh extract. i personally think its somethin you do once. i wasnt impressed with a 40x i ordered online or a 60x i picked up on the reservations. i ordered from here, http://www.sagewisdom.org/salviashop.html, as they seem to like salvia for its spiritual uses as opposed to making money. plus they have the purest extraction method i could find while researching.

there was a little bit of visuals and i felt like an octopus with pressure keeping me sitting on teh couch. my 2 buddies both felt like they were in sleeping bags, trapped n shit. only lasts from about 2 minutes to 7 minutes. shrooms was a way more ridiculous experience.

What extract did you get on sage wisdom?

i bought some from some stupid shop, was like $30 for 18 grams, its kind of like a marijuana high, but gives you a headache, and you wont hallucinate.

25mg of extra strength. gotta smoke it all in one hit and old it in. like i said i wouldnt bother doing it again, but it was a good experience, just to say i did it.

Salvia Divinorum for most is very unpleasent and most do not tend to repeat the experience. I do it for the after glow as it increases my confidence and sense of awareness. I would start off with 30x 3/10 of a gram in a bong with a torch lighter. Salvinorin A(the active ingredient in Salvia Divinorum which makes up 95% of the actives has a high burning point). Use a water pipe and inhale everything and hold it until you can't hold it any longer. Breathe out and inhale and enjoy

Don't bother with plain leaf , waste of time and burns like crazy . Best to get the highest extract you can find or extract it yourself from leaf . No disappointment then , the trick is to get enough salvinorin a into your system for a quick turn and burn , maybe 15 to 20 mins tops . If done right you will never forget the experience .

Not a lot of help in here. Personally, I wouldn't get raw leaf (takes a few), what I would do is hop over to bouncingbearbotanicals.com and take a peak at their salvia extracts.

Many people bitch that it sucks because they bought non-standardized. Make sure you always buy standardized. Allright? Now that that's settled. You'll only need a little bit, anything from 10-20x whatever BBB is carrying. It can be really fun, I have never had a headache from it once in my life (and I've done it quite a few times). It's nothing like marijuana.. the buzz is much heavier like opiates IMO. It will make you hallucinate, but isn't really psychedelic. Enjoy.

dont smoke the leaf. i grow it and it wont do anything to you, no matter how much u smoke. buy the extract. dont go less than 40x tho, or it will just give u a buzz for 15 mins.

40x and above ull start to see all sorts of things, bt most of the time i never remember what i saw. the trip lasts 5 mins or so, bt the high for me lasts an hour or so.
