Homestead's EZ Grow Mushroom kit, has anyone tried it/used it successfully?

I've heard of some people having some luck. Its not a horrible way to get acquainted with the mushroom growing process. But, for the same amount, you could order a syringe and follow a basic PF Tek and go straight from pre-school into kindergarten. If you plan on growing more than once you are going to have to learn the steps laid out in a PF Tek, or more advanced Tek. So, in my opinion, you might as well jump in with two feet.

Do your research on shroomery.org or mycotopia.net

I did a qwik google search on it and alot of people said it was bad.

Humm..I was hoping for something simple that I couldn't mess up too much on the first try..

why are you doubting yourself bro? are you a complete failure at all you do or something? give it a try man its not hard, if you call being sterile hard then you could have a problem...if you follow all the steps correctly when you do the jars and you still end up with contamination then its possible its in the air of your house...the closet ive came to contamination so far is from overcooking the seeds to much water, they started to smell funny, but i never seen any odd looking growth...other than that i havent had problems, im not too sterile either, i personally dont use a glove box and spray air sanitizer, only things i sterilize are the needle, the incoulation point before i noc'em, and maybe clean the table i am working at, clean hand should be something you already know...i dont recommend doing exactly what i do because i dont think we have a mold spore problem as of right now cause its winter, in the summer i might have to go outside to do them...well see, but if you got some questions ill try to help yo out...i recommend going over to the shroomtalk, or shroomery, or mycotopia they are all great sites and the people are cool.
