ok, I have read up on acid, but what I've read hasn't told me everything I'd like to know. like, I know that going into a trip with bad feelings or anything of that sort is something I definitely don't want to do. I think i can handle letting go of my bad feelings that aren't even there.

the things I want to know is basically what to expect.
-is there a certain feeling to it (like the high you get from smoking pot. is a feeling like that even remotely there, or am i just gonna see stuff in a new light?)
-what are some things that I may see (I know the possibilities differ from person to person. what I'd really like is some things you may have seen whilst tripping.)
-will I be able to feel myself go into a bad trip if that does actually happen? If it is possible to feel myself go into a bad trip, what may work to help sort of reverse this feeling? I have read that reminding myself my name and address and other personal information helps greatly, is this true?
-How unwise would it be to walk into a pizza shop while tripping?
-I'm probably gonna be outside most of the time. Will this affect any aspects of the trip? (It just snowed a bit here. I rather enjoy snow and it puts me in a pretty good mood when I just sit outside in the snowy woods.)
-Is listening to Dark Side Of The Moon while tripping just a really cliche thing to do, or is it really as amazing as some people make it out to be?

those are all of the questions I can really come up with. Yes, some are pretty weird, but they make sense to me. I know that there already are many many threads of this topic, but the ones i checked out didn't really give me the answers I was looking for. I will highly appreciate any help or little tid bits of information. anything that helps me in anyway.

Lol dude this one is the most varied...
You'll KNOW youre tripping balls in about 45 minutes...for me it normally start with my sense of smell getting verry strong to the point where I dislike my own cigarettes.. not that I stop...
Acid has many levels of effects, yep things may simply get warped a little, and space may seem larger or smaller (yup its pretty unbelievable till you SEE it). You may even if you are very lucky have reality replaced with ...something else... well for me this the most scary bit... trees look prety fuzzy to me regardless how good the acid is. But you'll KNOW.. you'll brain will beoperating at 15 times its normal speed and may even be processing multiple thoughts at the same time...

you'll superabound but you'll still have nothing to do. Is not remotely like alcohol or pot or E.... no applicable refferences in those experiences... yep your body is capable of even more stuff.

nope, just remember you are unlikely to have a bad trip, you are VERY likely to have bad moments, misunderstanding, hurt feelings etc... your brain goes verbal on your arse and finds hidden meanings in everything. But my worst moments, in hind sight I did not see comming until it was too late... luckily they were always over relatively quickly, leaving me to astound myself at the rest of the trip.

Erm you'll have a very short span of attention.. if you can find another zone with sonething else going on there.. just the move there might distract you enough to get you back in amazement land.

On a light trip , on a HARD trip there is no myself there is only IS.

BEST THING IN THE WORLD NATURE + ACID... acid amplifies what is around you...when yuo are around beautifull nature, there is 0% chance of a bad trip in my book... walk down a street with graffiti and you find yourself in hell.

There is nothing you can do to prepare for it...
Just say here I am, I give myself 100% to this experience for the next 8 to 12 hours, and I expect no more control over the situation than being able to look after my basic safety.

Let me put it this way.

In no way can words explain to you what acid is like, so trying to explain would be a waste of your time.

The best thing to prepare yourself for acid is to try shrooms or mescaline. When dealing with the world of psychedelic hallucinogens it is best to start small and work your way up. Trust me, because if its goes bad, you may not be able to control it, but if your worked your way up, you will know how to handle it mentally.

Its all in your head.

Do acid. It's fun. really fun and mind expanding. I went to see The Schwag (grateful dead cover band) on some cid saturday man that was a fucking blast. So was the faint. actually....go to a concert on cid. it's fuckin amazing.
