so i came up on some PURE MDMA yellow astronauts not too long ago.
i wanted to make sure they were as my friends said they were, so i took one, and smoked a nice joint and waited...

about 45 min later chillin, but relaxed from THC in my brain. or the fact that its not a speed based roll. felt slightly euphoric, typical results after only one pill.

anyway zero come down, fell right to sleep about 2 1/2-3 hours after consumption.

decided to do 2 1/2 pills for this next trip.. ended up being completely fucked up off 2 1/2..
i could not keep a conversation for the life of me. i would forget what was said LITERALLY right after it was said.
i was infatuated with lights, touch, and ended up having extreme moments of pure ecstasy..::go figure huh:::

anyway, as it came time for bed approx. 3:00am was when i first got in bed. i laid there for a good hour unable to sleep. and decided to take my nightly dose of DXM (in cough syrup) and use it as a sleep aid.(had no herb)

WRONG!!!! i ended up falling asleep not too long after the DXM dose. ohh and by the way, i took the recommended dose.

i woke up at 4:45 sleeping on my back covered in puke, idk how i woke up or why, but could have easily drowned in my own vomit...

threw up for a good few hours and fell asleep on and off for the whole next day...

took a few serotonin boosters, and tried it again about 2 weeks later same pills, this time i had a sac. took 2 pills. had a great night, smoked a blunt on my way home. and passed out....

so my theory is E + DXM =

anyone else have an experience like this?

you are lucky. That is a dangerous combination. DXM is a horrible drug and dangerous to mix with amphetamine analogues. If I recall right DMX is a MOAI and that makes it unsafe to mix with many other chemicals.

ive had my fair share of vomiting and high dosages of different drugs. and this was by far the worst combo. please no one EVER do this. it was a very stupid mistake/chance i took. i knew it was gona have negative effects. but was hoping to just fall asleep...

I wouldnt say its horrible. just weird. It's MAOI, by the way ESS. And no, DXM isn't an MAOI, it's an NMDA receptor antagonist.

Oh nah dude that sounds super fucked up; I wasn't trying to be condescending or anything. I just meant DXM on its own isnt all that fucked up or nasty, just weird. I honestly don't know enough to come up with my it would fuck you on X though. Sorry it happened in the first place.

haha you are a lucky fucker. yeah DXM + amphetamines generally don't do to well for people.. especially considering how many mg's of amphetamine/s are in an E tab.

Drugs to Avoid with MAOIs

It's not totally understood how various MAOIs interact with the body. Some are more likely to have negative interactions with foods and drugs than others. To be as safe as possible, avoid the following drugs while you are taking an MAOI antidepressant and for two weeks after stopping it.

• All SSRIs (prozac, zoloft, and several other anti-depressants)
  SSRIs block the reuptake of serotonin in the brain. Because MAOIs inhibit the breakdown of serotonin, the combination of MAOIs and SSRIs can lead to dangerously high levels of serotonin in the brain (serotonin syndrome). Symptoms of serotonin syndrome include nausea, vomiting, blackouts, memory loss, increased blood pressure and increased heart rate.
• Demerol
• Cold preparations (tablets, capsules, or liquids such as Comtrex)
• Cough medications containing decongestants, Dextromethorphan (DXM)1, or Demerol
• Sinus medications
• Nose drops or nasal sprays
• Nasal decongestants
• Hay fever medications
• Diet pills
• Amphetamines --- speed
• MDMA --- Ecstasy
• MDE, MDA, and other "MD" compounds
• Cocaine --- crack

MAOIs can and will dramatically increase the effects of some of these drugs to the point of becoming dangerous. Other plants and chemicals are intentionally combined with some reversible MAOIs (plants such as Syrian Rue or Banisteriopsis Caapi, or their primary active chemicals the harmala alkaloids) to intentionally increase the effects of chemicals such as DMT (as is done in many forms of the ayahuasca brew) or sometimes phenethylamines such as Mescaline or 2-CB. All of these "potentiating" combinations can be dangerous if used improperly.
