Oh yeah, I guess it's pretty easy to come by if you live in a city with lots of Ethiopians or Senegalese, even in the US.

Pretty much.. it has the stimulants Cathine and Cathinone in it.. although I've never heard of someone really using it much in the States. I have heard of people doing methcathinone though.

Where are you getting your info? seriously, Tons of people do this in the US metro areas and it's not near the scourge that alcohol is. The extracted alkaloids may be pretty bad, but it's not much more of a stimulant than coffee. Like cocaine the leaves are fairly benign, even beneficial. You may even be right, but anecdotal evidence I've seen personally says it's not a "scourge"
