The last time I tripped on acid or shrooms was back in the 80's when I was in junior high going to Douglas Anderson. I'm thinking about buying some spores and doing a little growing. However, I'm no longer the young fool that would try anything. What are some good strains to try for a "mild" trip?

psilocybe cubensis is the best strain available. I would go to shroomery (.org) and look at their list of trusted vendors / sponsors. Psilocybe spores are legal to posses in 47 states; I hope you don't live in California, Georgia, or Idaho...

the spores are, yes. but when you inject the spores thats when it gets illegal

edit: why do you want a mild strain? why not start real small on a good strain? it will go a lot further for your effort

I would have to agree with thaman420. Just get a really good strain, but take less (like maybe a gram), and then work your way up if you feel like you can handle more. So this way after you have your first "mild" trip, you can judge from there on how much to take. No sense in growing a shit load of shrooms if they aren't going to make you trip balls.

With that said, I would recommend Penis Envy or any John Allen-found strain.
