i tried shrooms on halloween and loved it. ive been really interested in growing mushrooms ever since. i heard its not very hard, and since they dont need much light it shouldnt be bad. but im wondering if it is possible to grow them withought spores. they grow in the wild withought spores, so if i set up something that is a perfect copy of somewhere where shrooms would grow shouldnt shrooms grow? maybe this is a total dumbass idea..i dont know
any ideas would be apreaciated

it seems to make sence haha.
kinda nasty though..considering ill probably have to get some type of dung..
i doubt the brown rice flour and vermaculite way would work withought a spore

spores are like seeds...without them, nothing will grow! 1 mushroom cap can produce millions of spores...then animals, and weather spread them around. It takes a male and a fem spore to get myc started...
