Sure, I prepared wild bird seed by soaking a bag of it in a pot of water over night, then I skimmed off floaters. I then rinsed the seeds in a strainer and put them back into the pot with fresh water and simmered on low heat for an hour, not boiling just low. I then drained and placed the seed into pint sized canning jars, leaving about an inch to an inch and a half of space on the top. I placed tyvek over the tops of the jar and screwed the oring/lid over top of it.

The jars were placed in a pressure cooker at 10psi for an hour and allowed to cool overnight. I then inoculated the jars with cubensis spores using a needle and syringe. Took about 2.5 weeks for total colonization of the jars at 86 degrees F.

The jars were then opened and mixed into 2 bread trays with a mixture of sterilized manure/humus/vermiculite at a 1:1:1 ratio. I just stirred up the substrate w/ the colonized seed and then covered with tinfoil and incubated again for 5 days at 86 degrees.

Then I placed the trays into a fruiting chamber and fanned them 4-6 times a day and lightly misted with a misty mate. That's about it. I also sterilized the substrate in a pillowcase in my pressure cooker. Dry weight from 2 bread trays was roughly 3 oz.

how many cakes did you have to get all that?

That is from 3 pint sized brown rice flour/vermiculite jars mixed with the bulkier substrate.
