I'm going to be taking shrooms for the first time on Friday, and i'm a little anxious that i may have a bad trip. i've heard that drinking alcohol while on shrooms can bring you down...is this true? does anybody have any other, better suggestions on how to come down if a bad trip does indeed happen? thanks!

i drink like 4 or 5 drinks before i trip to loosen me up that ususally works for me

if you can get ahold of some trazadone... it will knock out the trip... i used to sell shrooms back in the day, had a bad habit of eating them too... sometimes the trip was just too much to be doing business on; pop a trazadone and in 45min i started to get my head back, within 1.5hrs it would be gone completely...

vitamin c really helped me out, really calmed the trip down, either take a few pills or drink a small bottle of orange juice, don't chug it, but drink it quickly.

Bad trips don't just happen...

Don't take them when you are Anxious! Is the obvious advise.

If you feel unsure or paranoid(or particularly stressed about things), shrooms may make it worse.

So long as you are with mates & don't smoke too much before you take them it will be great!

Stop worring & enjoy it... If you are that worried about trying them pehaps you should leave it for a bit.

I've had one bad trip (on LSD yrs ago when i did it, I got it in my head that I was about to die) but was cos I was generaly smokeing too much at the time & lots b4 i took it... I had also moved away to a new job that I didn't really fit into... too introspective for my own good.

Mates just sat me down & talked about happy/positive stuff (but not in an intense way)... Remember, its alll in the head - you just need to change how you are thinking.

remember you control your own trip..... and if you think ur gonna have a bad trip... shrooms are not for you buddy

Vitamin c will just increase the potency of the shrooms!! Every one that i know that takes shrooms always washes em down with a bunch of OJ. Unless you can get your hands on the drug that one person b4 me was talking about (not the xanax) your just going to have to ride it out. And personally i Never ever mix Booze with shrooms, it would destroy your liver,and you would probably black out and do some really stupid shit you would regret. Iv seen first hand what shrooms and alch can do to a person and its not pretty!!
Im pretty experienced with shrooms so i can honestly say the best way to avoid a bad trip is to be ready to take them, you cant have any doubts about what your about to put your self through.
The first time i did shrooms was in 9th grade in class. I just ate em descreatly in the back of the class room like they were chips or candy. I dont think ill ever forget that day I thought i was never going to come down!!
