Hello all.

I've been interested lately in experimenting with lsd. I used to be very afraid of it because I had thought it was completely man-made. After reading that it does come from nature I am a bit more reassured. Having my first real trip with mushrooms last year has only increased my curiosity.

The problem however is that I do not know a reliable source (or any source really) and I have heard horror stories about bad acid. This would make sense because of the high level of chemistry knowledge and equipment required for producing clean LSD. Im sure there were plenty of chemists in the 60's and 70's but that has changed a lot. I don't want to mess around with some of the stuff that goes for acid these days.

I have tried LSA and found the experience to be rather plain (although with about 10 dramimine I had a pretty nice little trip once). I like being able to percieve the world fundamentally differently than normal and appreciate the fact that the experience of really tripping (shrooms for me) is absolutely unique.

After reading on the net I found a few people who suggest the best (maybe only) place to get clean pure LSD is at festivals where hippies gather. Finding these events can be tricky though. I started some preliminary searches on the net but it is slow work finding what im looking for.

I was pretty much wondering if there are any festivals/events that people on here know about. I know at least one person on here mentioned one in Ohio that sounded p-retty fantastic. I know there used to be a BIG weekend festival on an Indian reservation in upstate NY but I believe it got closed down (from stories there were like 1000's of pounds of marijuana, plus virtually every other drug known to man at this thing).

I think it would be beneficial to alot of people to get a updated and comprehensive list of all these hippy/mind altering festivals around the country. I know there have to be a lot of them hiding in the wood work.

I was under the impression that D lysergic Acid 25(or something like that) was found in ergot which is a naturally occuring fungus that grows on rye.

LOL not man made. have you ever read a procedure for procurring LSD in a lab situation? Haha read that and tell me it's not man made. Yes, it is derived from a ergot but the process is nothing close to "natural".

Even if it is or isn't man made. It's amazing.

Ask around, acid isint that hard to find (for me at least).
As for a festival I go to Gathering Of The Vibes every year, and its crazy!
Its located in bridgeport Connecticut if you have intentions on going.
They have anything you want there and more. Be careful though, when you go to these shows you tell yourself "I'm not going to let myself get out of hand" but you end up leaving having done the exact opposite.
My favorite from GOTV had to be the nitrous balloons though, but they do have very clean acid.

Check out Jambase.com and search for concerts or festivals in your area. Unfortunately for you, festival season just came to an end. Pick any kind of hippy/jam/bluegrassy concert out there and you'll find some kids slinging doses in the parking lot or the crowd in front of the theater, depending on the layout of the venue.

If you live near San Francisco, just head to Golden Gate Park and ask some bums... not my first choice but those guys are surprisingly nice and usually have some decent shit. SF is the LSD capital. Pretty easy to get in Colorado too.

Or, if you live near a college campus, go walk around and look for a kid walking around with any of the following characteristics... the more the better: Long unkept hair (good), dreadlocks (better), tie dye shirt (good), Phish shirt (Bullseye!), guitar, drum, joint, or squinty eyes. The cafeteria would be a good place to start. Bring a joint as a peace offering, and so he knows you aint the law, and casually mention that you are new to the area and looking for some doses. Hippies are generally nice and willing to help.

I was going to say the same shit. All of it. haha. Yeah for festivals, JAMBASE.COM. The Bear Creek festival in Florida should be good. The spring/summer is the best time for festivals but for shows look for the hippies. As for what T-shirts/shows that would generally be good guesses: Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh & Friends, Bob Weir & Ratdog, Darkstar Orchestra, moe., String Cheese Incident, Phish, Disco Biscuits, Sound Tribe Sector 9, EOTO, Perpetual Groove, Martin Medeski & Wood, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Keller Williams, Lotus, Umphrey's McGee, Widespread Panic. Shit....just find us.
