i've read that they take longer to colonize ( pf tek for simple minds ). anyone grow in 1 pint? any suggestions?

im using pint jars and following the pftek for simple minds.
i did 5 jars...down to 2 now due to contams
out of the 2, one is finally 100% colonized and the other is very close.

i did 5 more jars recently and have good growth on all of them, seem to be moving a little faster than the first 5.

i should be moving the 2 into the fruiting chamber very soon, i cant wait for some shrooms.

what did you do differently the second time to prevent contam?

spores should be here by monday. B+ cause I've read great things from others. any thoughts?

i thought i was being clean the first round, but i guess not clean enough.
second time i tried to be as sterile as possible..like i was going in to do surgery.

im growing B+, never tried it but hope to soon.

yea yea. me too. havent done shrooms in over 15 years...think its closer to 17 years. i have no idea what strains i ate when i was a kid. i was hired to help some contractors and one guy had bags of shrooms in his playmate cooler. he brought me over to his truck one day and pointed them out. it was like the holy grail to me. gotta remember this was b4 the internet and info on demand. anyway, he just gave em to me, everyday.

since then tho i've never had em. can't wait.
