Last year on Halloween, me and two buddies decided to try acid on the night of fright. We were dropped off at a skatepark several towns away from where we lived, and took our three tabs each. We went to the park because there was supposed to be a concert our friends were playing in, but it was called off by the cops. Our ride back home was one of the band members, who decided he wasn't going to go to warren ( the town we were in) because he couldn't play. Since we were stuck in a town we didn't know, and were tripping balls, we decided to go up to a place in the town where a bunch of hammocks over looked the skate park, called hammock heaven.
After smoking our selves stupid, it was pitch black out, and people were yelling at us from down at the park, but we had no idea who. Some one yelled something about the cops, so we headed down to see that the skatepark was now crowded. Since it was my first trip, I was pretty freaked out when I saw a bunch of strangers with knives, and people telling us to 'get the fuck out' before we got in trouble. Others were asking us for weed, but sadly we smoked it all. Another friend of ours skated up to us and told us that we had been up there for five or so hours, and it had only seemed like one or two.
The three of us started walking down the street back to the town, with no idea of how we were going to get home. Once we were about thirty feet away, the people who were threatening us began following us. Being on acid, we got sketched and darted into the woods, sitting there for another hour trying to call people to help us get home. I could have sworn I heard people in the woods looking for us, but it was too dark to tell. Once we left the woods, we saw more flashing lights down the streets, thinking it was the cops. My friend (Purplehazejohnny) told us to keep our cool, and we kept walking down the street, while children were running around in costumes and parents were laughing. With all the noise of halloween, I was going nuts, but enjoying the L so much.
Walking aimlessly around the town, we eventually found a group of girls we knew, who could tell by the way we were acting that we were fucked up, and I myself was rather distant from even my closest friends.
We walked with the girls for a few minutes, maybe fifteen while still trying to find a ride home. I then heard " What the fuck!?" And turned to see my brother and three of his friends, including the band member who was supposed to bring us home. We celebrated the union by piling into a van and driving to this rich kids house, where we ate all his food and smoked his weed ( because he sucks). There was a bunch of trippy things in his house, and after a few more hours my brother and his friends left. Me and my two trippin friends started walking back down the moutain towards the town, where Purplehazejohnny's father was going to pick us up. Not even fifty feet from the drive way we got lost, so we went back to the kids house and asked for directions to the lodge.
Again, we headed down the road, but forgot the directions within minutes, and headed back once more. This time we were able to remember them, and walked about a mile to a lodge where we were picked up in a truck. Sitting in the bed, we stared at the clear skies stars as we tripped driving, saftely getting home at 2 in the morning.
I can say without doubt that it was the most intense night of my life, and we're doing it all over this year.
