So I found a site selling buttons, my question is, have you ever tried it? If you have how trippy is it? I have only ever smoked weed so I think that it might be a bit heavy for me. Anyways I will grow it anyways just because I can but I am curious about it.

Well..if you've never tripped period, I would strongly suggest starting off with some shrooms or lsd before you move onto something like peyote. But it's your call.

Actually mescaline is a great starter psychedelic, its much easier to have a good time, or almost impossible to have a bad time. You might wnat to look up san pedro or peruvian torch, they contain mescal and are cheaper that peyote buttons.

I don't know much about the growth of peyote but I have the gear at the house to grow just about anything.

Where do ya get the seeds and so forth?

First of all, peyote takes at least 3-10 years to grow into a adult. And it may take a few buttons to get a good trip. IMO its much more economically effeicient to buy a few 1 ft cuttings of san pedro.

That is what I needed to know, I know cactus grows slow but JEEZE!

Southwestern US and Mexico, in the deserts. But supposedly they're not especially easy to find.
