so my first shroom trip was the winter of last year, and just thought i would share my story.

So to describe the setting, it was me, my friend brian, and sean, and we were tripping in brians apartment. Brian is pretty experienced with shrooms, so he knows some of the more fun things to do that arent obvious, like brushing your teeth, or more importantly to this story, playing around with fruit.

After tripping pretty hard for a while, I see brian go in his fridge and start playing with some fruit. I just thought "ok, whatever." Next, I see sean do the same thing. Id never had a desire in my life to actually play with fruit, like rolling it around and just observing it, so i just thought they were being dumb asses. After a few minutes, i see they are really enjoying themselves, and are enthralled with these fruits. So I became envious, simply because of how engaged they were, so I asked brian if he had any extra fruit.

He only had an onion left for me to play with. I was slightly disappointed, but once i got my hands on it and started juggling it around, I completely understood their fascination. We sat there in silence for 5 minutes, just feeling the texture of these food items. I was so engaged with this onion, that I felt it had become a part of me, like an extension of my hand.

Eventually, brian and sean had their fill and put the fruits back. I however, didnt. We decided to move into the other room and listen to some music, and I brought my new pal, the onion, with me because I couldnt part with it. So we are sitting their, each enjoying our own experience while listening to the music. I was sitting there, just observing the onion from different angles and positions, and loving every minute of it. Then I dont know what came over me, but I felt like me and the onion had to become something more at that instant. So I take one final look at the onion, and draw it towards my mouth, and take a giant bite of it, peel and all!!! Right then, I immediately snapped out of my fixation and realized "Oh my god, I just took a huge bight of a raw onion!" It was so fucking disgusting. It just teared up my eyes and the taste was indescribably bad! The only thing brian and sean saw was me suddenly run to the sink to spit everything out and rinse my tongue out for 5 minutes. I told them what I just did and we just started laughing our asses off for 5 minutes straight. It was for sure the most disgusting moment I had during a trip, but in retrospect, one of the funniest.
