Hey, some friends and I are planning on taking shrooms this weekend. I have done them before a couple of times and love it.

One of the friends who wants to do it has pretty severe peanut and soy allergies. I was just wondering if anyone had some insight on whether or not he should take them.

I guess it'd be better safe than sorry.

He should be perfectly fine unless the mushrooms were growin in peanut and soy fields and rubbin all up on them gettin there oils on the mushrooms.

Take em! Be safe! And prepare for the next 6 hours!

I agree. I don't think he should have any problems, I can't see any reason they would be in contact with soy or peanuts...Be safe and have LOTS of fun!

I think this is one of those times when you need to be really safe! I read on a website (not going to give free advertising), but it insisted that mushrooms do not cause allergic reactions.

HOWEVER, I would strongly recommend that your friend has his emergency steriods around just incase something (such as trachlear swelling) does occur. BE SAFE MAN!
