I have been reading up on Amanita muscaria mushrooms and I have visited a couple of sites that are selling them. I have never done shrooms before and I am not interested in them because I just want to get high. Instead I am interested in the spiritual experiences I can get from eating them.

Has anyone tried Amanita muscaria mushrooms? And if so are they worth buying? Or should I just grow some kind of psilocybin variety?

amanitas are legal, but the trips not as great as psylocybins, plus theres a possible risk of poisoning yourself if you eat too many amanitas, i think the active ingredient is muscarizone or something

Deff check out www.erowid.org/experiences and look for amanita. From what I have read(never done em), there is alot of "intense energy" involved with these. You may feel like your going insane, and your thoughts may become illogical. there is 3 stages to this. First stage is body feelings - second stage is irrational thoughts, thoughts speeding up to a very intense pace - third stage is the visuals/more of a psylocybin trip. Good luck bro, I have been wanting to try the amanita aswell. If you want to go with something stronger, I would try the pantherina muscaria.

That will probably kill you, Amanita pantherina is poison! Amanita muscaria are the psychoactive type(not even close to psylocybin, more like alcohol). Never heard of a mushroom called pantherina muscaria before, maybe you are referring to another type???

dont eat this just grow the regular shrooms it will cost ya like $50.00 and you will have enough for quite a few trips and you can get spore prints so you can grow more of them
