Right now i am trying a new method of creating salvia extract .. this one involves water curing your leaves before extracting.. hope i can get some Wax and maybe give it a smoother smoke ..

First I have 100 G dry leaf (can be ground but easier to drain if not)

place 25 G in empty mason, plastic jars .. i used plastic
..then fill it up with water to the top, stir, and keep filling to the top (trapped air bubbles down in the water)
.. check in about an hr some of the leaves will have soaked up the water this is when u need to refill it again
.. in 24 hr replace the water and this time you shouldnt have to refill as much

Now keep repeating this process for a week (i havent done this yet but it should be alot less waxy and alot of the chlorophyll should have left the plant)

1)Now once the week is over, drain the jars and spread the leaves out on a cooking tray 25g at a time and place in the oven on 200*F and stir the leaves around til all are dry

2)I may dry grinding them after i drain the jars to get a soupy mix which should grind better. easier .. after i grind them then dry drying them ..

after you have ground the 100g of leaf to a powdery form (whether u did the first or second method) u should have some Acetone (bought from the local hardware store near you, Ace Hardware, etc)

This is now the tricky part .. you have to have a glass jar with a top that is metal (foil should work) or a glass lid (NOTHING PLASTIC WILL WORK!!)
..place all the ground leaf inside the jar and fill with Acetone
..Stir about 2 to 3 times a day
..Have a larger Mason jar (1 Gal, or 2 Qt) and pour out the acetone( no leaves) into the larger jar .. you may want to pour into a coffee filter to make sure no leaves get into it
..now with the leaves pour in some more Acetone and Repeat the process once more

now once u have all the Acetone from the 2 leaf soakings
..pour all the Acetone into a Pyrex pan and let it evaporate
.. let it evaporate to just about less than 1 cm
.. once its that far .. u will want to sorta stir it so the residue on the side of the pan is in the liquid
.. once that it done pour it into a bowl where u can add the leaf (10g of leaf added will make 10x, 5g = 20x, and so on didnt feel like doing the math)
.. or no leaf at all til it is a waxy material where u can either
1) make a tincture ( needs naptha)
2) smoke the waxy stuff

... how to make a tincture

you need the waxy shit and u add some naptha til it disolves into it and put it into a mason jar
..add to mason jar
..stir or shake with lid (stir recommended)
..let it settle over night
.. once settle there should be some settlement in the bottom
.. remove about 2/3 of the naptha and discard of the removed naptha
..add more naptha ( equivalent to the amount removed)
.. the more time you do it it should become a lighter color
.. do it about 3-4 times and then let it dry out in a bowl once u are done and then once u have a dried out product add it to 1 ounce of 191 everclear and get ready to get trippy

ok .. so i just emptied my jars of water .. and yes dont use ground first .. i didnt but i lost a lot of little pieces .. it would make it alot harder to drain .. but the water was a dark yellowish color and had a pretty nasty very earthy smell to it ..

yeah ive made some before just not with the water method first .. but this should make it easier at least im 70% sure it will .. its gonna be a bitch drying all those leaves tho .. lol its probably gonna be about 2 weeks before its all said and done maybe longer due to i have to keep it concealed away from my parents .. haha they just didnt know what it was the first time .. i told em it was a science experiment .. ha til the baggies came in the mail lmao ... but yeah im hoping this will have better success ... if not oh well
