I was looking at the T5 High Output4 ft 8 tube setup from discount hydro and texas hydroponics. I notice the big price difference, and first thing I thought was is it due to quality? However after carefully doing more researching, it seemed more like texas hydroponics is a little more over priced on the lights.

My closet dimensions is 8 foot celing. a built in top shelf on both sides and a cabinet on the left. From the cabinet to the other wall it is 3 feet and 10 inches. From the top of the cabinet from WALL to WALL it is 5.5 feet. It is 4 feet and two inches long. I was wanting to place the T5 set up on the other side of the wall from the cabinet. I do have pictures of the current grow set up in my Grow journal. the link is here

why only 4 tubes and not 8? Could you show a picture of how you have it mounted. I was wanting to get the hanger system that allows you to move up and down accordingly.

By the way you have mylar attached over that light acting as a wall? Smart Idea.

Use chain, the hangars are too height restricted. Chains and hooks man, tough to improve on that.

I would rather have 2 4bulbs then one 8. The advantage to these are how narrow they are, plus 1 has been fine for me vegging 8-10 big plants plus a dozen or so clones.

Edit: 240 bucks is crazy for a t5. I would get a HPS. I bought the t5 because I wanted to make a cheap separate veg room.
