Default Plans for my grow cabinet
Hey guys,

I am working on a grow cabinet, but I don't have any experience. I've tried to work things out from other posters and this is what I've put together so far. Any thoughts are appreciated!

This is the reflector:

Sunleaves ArcticSun Reflector, 18 1/8" x 15 1/4" x 8" - Worm's Way

At first, I was planning to attach the carbon filter directly to the Stanley blower's intake, but the space doesn't really allow for it . So instead I am planning to just have it as a passive intake. Is that going to make a difference? Thanks in advance.

I think the setup is more important than the right nutrients, light, watering etc only because you can easily fix the above with trial and error. The setup can be a huge problem if it doesn work out but yours looks solid and its nice you incorporated everything inone area. Im not an expert but unless youve had problems with heat in a similar setup before, Id skip the AC. On the inverse, its a passive intake so if the AC is unnecessary, no problem just disconnect and save on electricity.

a. it might be too cold for the little seedlings
b. I think AC will be more warranted as the plants get bigger and airflow is reduced.
c. let me know how it works out

agreed on the ac thing. i would have it on a separate intake and a thermostat inside to turn it on and off. i like to keep cool during the end of flowering to get the purple out. the reason i asked about the cfl comparison is because if they are just equivilant to wattage he dosn`t need a fan in there. what good is a fan if they are in a dome like they should be

Thanks for the tip guys.

Well where I live it has been getting very hot (mid 90s F) so I figured I'd need something to deal with the heat. My seedlings now sometime see the high 90's. Plus my res temp gets into the 80's which I read is suffocating them. That's the main reason I want the cold ac air to only pump up and around the res first to keep them nice and chilly!

My clone room isn't attached to the a/c intake so that is being cooled by good vent. Right now being too cold for my clones is the last worry I have because is just so high. If I have any money left I will try the thermo idea with the ac to save on electricity.

My CFLs are true wattage and give off about 7000 lumens. They get decently hot but I'm using them right now and they're not insanely hot, so hopefully it'll work.
