theirs this company getting rid of 10 similar hid's setups

if he sells them at 25 bucks would it be worth it to pick up a couple?

You can't go wrong at 25 bucks a piece.

Thats similar to wht I'll be using.. Mine are a little bigger.. but still 250 Watt MH Bulb.

Make sure they have the right ballast for your ability to power. Like w/ mine. I only had 2 out of 6 that had ballast that could be run on 120 Volt. And I had to re-wire them. The rest have 460Volt ballasts... Sucks.. but I found a bunch on HTGsupply.com that are not to $$$. Plus you could put bigger ballasts in for not much more $, allowing for higher wattage bulbs... Just don't over do it as the UL listing on the fixture is only rated for 250 watt.. But I don't see how if it not getting too hott, it should matter.

looks like it would get pretty hot having the ballast in the same room. there are better set ups out there for cheaper. imo i would keep looking.
i got a 400 watt ballast 30 bucks, 430 watt hps 30 bucks, large cooled hood 70 bucks.

thanks for the replys, I just found out most of the important details, their actually 175 watts each and are huge!! The dude wants 50 bucks each and now I really dont think their worth it, because of my grow rooms limited space.
