Okay, here's the deal: I am trying to come up with my own effective wicker system or use someone else's, if you've made one yourself. A soil wicker system seems very practical, yet I haven't heard much about em. I know that they have been used to grow other plants so I think it should work, but I need some feedback...

Anyone have idea's or plans for something like this? or experience watering soil with such a system?

Keep in mind that the goal here is low maintenance

I am thinking of something involving a string that is distributed throughout the soil and the other end in a pot of fertilized water
