I was thinking of buying a 1000w HPS "Cool Tube." It's pretty cheap. Has anyone out there ever used one, and if so, is it worth buying??? Any info would be helpful.

I use one on my 400 watt mh and hps and it works great, the plants can actually touch it and not get burnt.

We're using one for our 400w hps and they're brilliant. Really helps with the temperature in the tent too. A 1000w version would be sweet man

cool tube suck in my exp ya they are cool but dont let enough lumens through the glass

What are you using now? I wouldnt think you would lose more than 5%. I would think you would lose on pretty much any hood you used.
