Hi everybody ... I have a HPS 430W I'm using for my flower level ... I'm thinking ... when I have the doe ... of replacing it with a 250W HPS and a 250W MH ... the reason being for a better light spectrum ... and the bulbs for 430W are expensive ... I could replace both 250W at half the cost of a 430W ... plus not all store carry it. I have a 150W HPS on the flower level as well ... I plan to keep that ... I will have 650W for a 4X2 area ... that should be enough light ... an extra 70W shouldn't be too bad ... so what do you think?

One can never have too much light in my opinion. If the space is properly ventilated, the lights are far enough away from the plants, and the temperature is manageable; I say go nuts!

Well heat is somewhat a problem ... especially when it get hot outside ... but the plants seems to be able to manage ... I am thinking about getting a ballast kit, it's cheaper ... the only problem is I can find a container or box that could handle the heat ... I checked on line but couldn't find anything in the states that had a box to put the inners in ... if any one has a suggestion or link that could help me find a container would be appreciated ...
