| |  first time grower, exhaust issue | |
I am growing WW in garage. I am hiding it from my dad. I have the set up all correct and i germinated and the plants look great. I am ready to start using the HPS lamp. I've been using fluorescent bulb. As soon as the HPS bulb came on the temperature in my 5 ft x 3 ft x 3 ft went upto 100 F. I have an exhaust set up. It's a basic bathroom exhaust fan, take away air at 50 CFM. I think the problem is that the aluminum tubing that is coming from the exhaust fan goes out the box (at the top) and i bring it back down (to the floor) and drilled a hole in the corner of the basement wall and expelled the air out that. I am guessing that since warm air rises, it might be the reason why it's not taking out the hot air. I have a 400 watt hps set up. What can i do? there is no way i can have the duct going up. If i buy a inline duct fan, will that exhaust out the hot air? help  |

.get inline and your intake hole should be bout twice the size as exhaust. fan needs to be at the top |

aggreed ganja. why do people insist on trying to hide grows from parents, if they arn't cool with it then don't simple as that. |

cant tell you why, mostly its little kids wanting to not have to buy pot from a dealer, because they cant find a good one, or they are constantly getting ripped off and get pissed.
What they dont realize is that whatever pot they think they can manufactur isnt going to make them jack shit in terms of weight and really they are just being futile little dipshits. |

My dad was pissed when he found it and the buds were tiny. I agree dude its not worth it just wait that was more than 8 years ago and looking back it was just dumb. Wait to get your own place then you can grow all the bud you want.  |

ok ok ok... i need to defend my self. i am not growing it in my parents house. i live with my room mates and i dont want them to know. the set up is in a cabinet and it's exhausted out. |

Same deal, if you get caught they will all take the ride with you to the jail.
In addition if they dont know, they will be less careful to keep certain things at bay that could get you fucked..
Growing is something that should only be undertook with full understanding of all parties involved.
Do yourself the biggest favor in the world and try to get a medical marijuana license if you live in a state that supports it. |
